"CEP Night" (April 21, 2004)
On Wednesday, April 21, CEP came out to help answer phones for the Spring Membership campaign. A lot of fun was had by all. We also had a $2000 CEP challenge in the 9pm break to add some spice to the night. In that 9pm break, we challenged viewers to call in with a total of $2000. If we collected at least that many dollars during that break, CEP would come in with an additional $2000. I'm happy to say that our viewers met the challenge, and CEP's Joel Carr (Administrative Vice-President for the Ontario Region) presented TVOntario with a cheque for $2000 (which came from both the local branch and the national office). All in all, the evening was a great success.
