The votes are counted, and the winner of this year's Labour Website of the Year competition is www.cupe.ca .
More than 5,500 votes were cast for nearly 470 labour web sites with the Canadian Union of Public Employee's web site receiving nearly 700 votes. This is the first time a Canadian web site has won the international competition.
